cloth diapering!

if someone had asked me a year ago if i would have ever considered cloth diapering i would have said heck no! but it really is not all that bad and i favor them over disposables. i really hate having to drive all the way to the store just for a box of diapers i feel like i wasted gas and it is always an adventure going anywhere on time with my little man. and with cloth diapering i am never worried about not having diapers. at first i ordered some best bottom cloth diapers and they worked fine i just found myself doing laundry a lot and it became really hard to keep up with only having two shells and six inserts. so i began researching some cheaper options that weren't cheap material but wouldn't break the bank. at first i thought i scored a deal with comfy rumps cloth diapering which they really are still an amazing deal, but then i stumbled across Leettle Hands and Feet cloth diapers. for $6-7 you get a shell and TWO inerts with shipping only being about 1.25 per diaper. i ordered 17 this past weekend and it came out to be about $133 sounds like an investment but for what i am getting out this i was happy to spend the money. i would encourage anyone to try them out! i will post photos of them along with my sons babylegs i recently got him which i have been lacking to show lol :-) enjoy!

so i recently saw apicture form a blog i follow of babylegs. i thought they were adorable and would help me change my wiggle worm of a son. so i started looking at websites and i did not really feel like spending $12 dollars on a pair so i kept researching and founf this website where they are all discounted some starting even at $2.95 so we ordered our son 9 pairs for a little over $40 and i love them! they do the job great and don't worry oh i have a boy can he wear leggings? yes, they make some for boys and they look just fine. so don't worry. i must say though i cannot wait until i have a daughter because oh man they are sooooo adorable :) the link the website is below enjoy! :)

kickin the sweet tooth

i typically am a really healthy eater, but lately i have taken a serious downward spiral. and i am not diggin the side affects to it. so i am trying to go back to my old ways, so i am going cold turkey, i have before and did okay. so no sweets and no soda just all natural foods that my body needs.

so happy!

so this week i once again have been shown how amazing God is. as many of you know i have been fundraising for invisible children and i was relentless about it. and i kept checking my funraising page anf it always said that there was zero dollars raised i began to get discouraged. and i began to pray that God guide me on as what to do and that if i am meant to be doing something else to show me so i began to lay off the fundraising for a little. and yesterday i get a call from invisible children saying thatt i have raised 500 dollars over night and that they set my counter back to zero to begin raising again and that they were wanting to get some campaign ideas from me. HOW AWESOME IS THAT?!

God is great :) 

i have learned to rely all on him and not to rely on my own abilities that if it is to be done it will be his will.

i still find myself amazed that when my son smiles at me after an exhausting and draining day i can't help but smile back. the Lord has blessed me with the greatest little boy a mommy could ask for. i thank Him daily for blessing me with my little Ryan :)
